Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 5, 2026

FranWallet ("Fran," "we," "us") is operated by Taylor Byington, a sole proprietor operating FranWallet. This policy describes information processed when you create an account, connect business services, upload documents, request support, or use franwallet.com.

What we collect

How we use it

What we don't do

We don't sell or rent your personal information. We don't share your email with third parties for their own marketing. You can ask us to delete your data at any time.

Service providers

We use Supabase for account, database, and document storage; PostHog for product analytics; Resend for email; Stripe for payment processing; and GitHub Pages for website hosting. Authorized connections may use Plaid, Intuit QuickBooks, Gusto, or Ramp when available. These providers process information needed for the corresponding service. Links to external booking or professional services are subject to those providers’ policies.

Access and sharing

Accounts require sign-in. Database and document access is restricted by account permissions; authorized support administrators may access information to operate and support the service. Connection credentials are handled by server-side integrations and are not published in the website.

If you create a report-sharing link, anyone who has that link can view the report until the link expires or is revoked. The sharing action creates a snapshot of the records you select; you choose whether to share it. Recipients may download selected files. Revocation cannot recall downloaded copies. Shared-room recipient pages do not run FranWallet analytics.

If you authorize a payroll team member by email, that person can view, import and correct payroll summaries for the assigned location until you revoke access. A service inquiry is reviewed by FranWallet and does not automatically share your financial records with a provider.

Retention

We retain account and business records while needed to provide the service and respond to your requests. You can delete supported records or request account deletion. We may retain payment, agreement and security records needed for accounting, disputes or applicable obligations. Provider backups may persist according to their retention cycles. Disconnecting a provider stops future authorized refreshes; contact us to request deletion of previously imported information.
