Terms of Service

Last updated: September 5, 2026

FranWallet is operated by Taylor Byington, a sole proprietor doing business as FranWallet. These terms apply to your use of franwallet.com and its software. Contact taylor@coverpanda.co for support, billing or refund requests.

Your account and records

Use a valid email and connect or upload only business information you are authorized to manage. You are responsible for allocating company-wide records to the correct franchise location and reviewing imports before saving them. Keep employee-level paystubs, tax IDs and account credentials in their appropriate source systems.

Free setup and Location Pro

Free setup includes available account connections, payroll and debt imports, private document organization, an owner-prepared value scenario and the operator toolkit. Location Pro adds publication of expiring buyer/lender rooms and scheduled monthly debt-payment reviews for one location, at $49 USD per location per month.

Monthly subscriptions renew automatically until canceled. You authorize the recurring amount shown at checkout. Manage payment details, invoices and cancellation in Wallet → Billing → Manage billing or cancel. Cancellation stops renewal at the end of the paid period. Contact support if you cannot access your account. Canceling does not itself request a refund.

Prices are in USD before any applicable transaction taxes shown at checkout. Monthly software payments use Stripe Managed Payments, sold through Link. Link provides transaction receipts and payment support; its payment terms and applicable refund rights also apply. FranWallet provides the software and product support. Any local-currency conversion and final total are displayed before you pay.

CoverPanda service credit

A location with a verified eligible active CoverPanda managed payroll or bookkeeping agreement may receive a $20 monthly software credit, reducing Location Pro to $29/month. Eligibility and covered locations must be stated in the service agreement and confirmed by FranWallet. Requesting information or choosing a vendor does not qualify automatically. Credits are not cash, do not stack and do not reduce the $299 founding price. Professional-service fees are separate.

When eligibility ends, the standard $49 monthly software rate resumes on a future invoice. We will communicate the change before that invoice; you may cancel renewal instead. Credit changes do not create a mid-cycle charge or refund.

Founding membership

The $299 one-time founding purchase includes lifetime Wallet Pro software access, a founding-member badge and a 30-minute founder onboarding call. Existing founding benefits are preserved and do not require a monthly software subscription. Use the same email for your founding payment and Wallet account. Filing fees, professional labor, payroll processing and third-party subscriptions are separate. If switching from monthly billing, cancel its renewal first to avoid overlapping purchases.

14-day first-purchase refund

If your first FranWallet software purchase is not a fit, email taylor@coverpanda.co within 14 calendar days of payment using your purchase email. We will refund that initial software payment to its original payment method and end the associated paid access. The window applies to either an initial monthly purchase or a founding purchase; it does not restart for renewals, additional locations or later purchases. Renewals are not routinely refundable. Any rights required by applicable law still apply. Separately contracted services follow their own refund terms.

Financial information and connected services

Provider availability, permissions and refresh timing vary. Gusto direct sync is unavailable; payroll reports can be imported. FranWallet does not run payroll, remit taxes or replace your source accounting, payroll or lender records. Managed services require a separate scope, price and authorization before work starts.

A debt-payment match is a suggestion, not verification of principal. Interest, fees, draws and payoff adjustments require current lender records. Location-value scenarios use owner-provided figures and assumptions; they are not independently verified appraisals, offers, lending decisions or guarantees. Setup progress measures completeness, not business value.

Entity preparation and financing

Entity setup and formation-help requests do not file an entity, purchase registered agent services or establish legal compliance. Deadlines are owner-entered from official or provider notices unless explicitly identified as synchronized. Completing a reminder does not submit a filing. Northwest fulfillment and automatic synchronization require a separate supported connection and service authorization.

Financing preparation does not submit a credit application, obtain approval or issue a loan. You choose which records to share and with whom. Record a funded loan only after confirming receipt of funds and checking the lender documents. Proposed financing is not treated as outstanding debt. External lenders set their own requirements and terms.

Readiness plans are suggested preparation guides tailored to the context you provide. They are not an exhaustive lender or buyer checklist. Suggested document matches use category and filename; you confirm contents and coverage. Review dates are FranWallet maintenance targets, not underwriting standards. Evidence marked current is owner-confirmed, not independently verified.

Data rooms and delegated access

Documents remain private until you select them for sharing. Publishing creates a dated snapshot with the selected records. Anyone holding its link can access it until expiry or revocation; recipients are not identity-verified. Revocation prevents future access but cannot recall downloaded copies. Share only with intended recipients and confirm your authority to disclose all included records.

You may grant and revoke a named person's payroll-import access for a location. That permission does not grant access inside a payroll provider or authorize payroll execution. On subscription cancellation, saved records remain accessible under free setup; publishing new rooms and scheduled Pro reviews end when paid access ends. Existing room links keep their original expiry unless revoked.

Appropriate use and availability

Do not access another customer's records without authorization, upload malicious content, abuse referral systems or interfere with the service. We may restrict abusive access. Keep original copies of important records. Software and third-party connections can experience interruptions; we do not promise uninterrupted availability or any financial outcome.

Privacy, support and changes

Our Privacy Policy explains data handling and your choices. Contact support to request account closure or deletion. We will provide notice of material billing changes before they apply; the current published date identifies this version of the terms.
